The greatest damage done by fire units whilst putting out municipal fires is by far, excessive, extensive water damage to property.
I suggest a possible OTHER way that does involve, quickly suffocating the oxygen supply to SNUFF out the problematic combustion. This material doesn’t, either, overly gush, disappear in dispersion, evaporate, or, “do” sticky glue institute. Almost totally water – yet contained. Totally manageable.
It WILL mean carrying a ready supply of materials to counter each call out. It may mean reduced time callouts in conjunction with existing practices. This may be progressive.
Trials will be needed.
